A stroll on the wild side

There is nothing like a slow stroll on a crisp morning along the street. The feeling of freedom is enhanced multi-fold because everyone obeys the dog rules, and one can walk in relative safety along the road, without being harassed too much. Like it should be.

We strolled along for about half an hour, just looking and smelling. Smelling… well, the grass and… and other things:

Someone with a trailer for sale. Seems nicely maintained. Simply go up his driveway and knock on the door! Effective marketing at a keen price.

There are pretty green plants all along the road. Many different ones, don’t ask me their names – I guess I might eventually know what they’re called…  Holly?

Peaceful paddock scenes, filled with masses of yellow daisies at this time of the year… and pretty wild flowers along the verge of the road as well… In fact, lots of pretty.

Some mushrooms too…

Not all mailboxes have the owner’s name. Here is Ngatiawa Warm Blood Stud.
